Does Readable support non-English languages?
Readable uses several readability scores for our unique A-E grade. This is best used for the English language.
For other languages, we include the Lix and Rix readability formulas in our offering. This has proven to be useful for non-English languages. You can read more about this in our article on Lix and Rix. This will detail which languages have been validated.
Languages which use glyphs or different punctuation rules to English aren't currently supported.
We are always looking at expanding our offering. If you write in a language which isn't supported, please get in touch.
