# What is a project?

A project is an individual website domain that is being scored by **ReadablePro**. Such as ‘[readable.io](https://readable.io/)’ or ‘example.com’.  
  
**ReadablePro** scans an entire website before giving it an overall readability score.  
  
You can then go into the project to see how individual pages have been scored and what needs to be improved.

Please note that we no longer refer to websites as "projects", and are in the process of updating our content to reflect this change.
